the life of side hustles . . . .

So I was talking with my boss today and I don’t remember how it actually came up in conversation, but I had mentioned that I just completed a Real Estate Salesperson course and in the process of joining an agency as another side job. She gave me the best look today noting that JUST casually mention that I took this class and earning yet another achievement. As a result, I replied back noting that it’s not necessarily having the side hustles, but creating opportunities and network links to grow and have more choices down the road.

When I was in middle school and high school, I had a teacher who taught at both schools and he was an architect by education and trade. That had piqued my interest in architecture and house design. In high school, I took Tech Draw I and Tech Draw II with him, where we learned how to sketch drawings for blueprints, how to use CAD (Computer Aided Design) and various other skills. One of my favorite projects I had completed while in middle school was a drawing I made of a city landscape using 2-point perspective drawing. I don’t know what ever happened to that drawing, whether I threw it away or I have it stored someplace and I just don’t remember.

Once I bought my own house, and thinking about certain design elements I find ideal brought back memories of all of these facts. It spurred me to also obtain my real estate salesperson license.
